I'm up in Helensburgh for a couple of weeks and I fancy having a crack at conger from the shore. But not having done it before - I'd have no clue how to handle the fish. If possible I'd like to go along with someone who knows what they're doing so that any fish can be returned unharmed. I'd guess fishing barbless, bronzed hooks would be a start and using 150lb mono rather than wire for a trace...but anyone fancy a conger sesh on loch long later this week or next week??
