At long last after 8 or 9 trips to Loch Long, its finally giving us plenty good fish, Wednesday night and all day Thursday produced 3 Conger, 12 Pollock, dozens of Wrasse( the biggest about 2lb) and a couple of weird looking things???? The water was very clear and we could see some large edible crab walking along the bottom(never caught one mind you)The only down side is the amount of crap thats been left behind by some people, Aye its fine to bag up your rubbish, but take it with you guys.. :wallbash:

Sounds like you had a great days fishing with a nice variety of fish too. Shame about the litter and you've shown that perseverance can pay off.

Right place, right time and you'll get the fish.

and a couple of weird looking things???? QUOTE]

Any pics? We love weird looking things? Are we talking weird fish? Did any of them look like a giant tadpole?
Never took any pictures, but one of them looked like a Blennie but a lot darker, and as about 6 inches long, I think the other was a weaver but am not sure?
