hi all fished and camped at loch ryan last week at a place called dally bay just round the corner from lady bay did ok 1 dogfish a new species for me about one an a half pounds an 1 tiny pollock fishing from the rocks lost alot of tackle didnt realise it was that bad for taking youre gear and boy those waves that come in of the ferrys reach a fair hight. thanks to the lads that gave us info on loch ryan and for the warning about the ferrys.

fished at granton b/w today with rui fishing was good i had two lobsters wich were kept for the pot 1x coddling and 1x wrasse and 1x mackie rui had 1 lobster wich went back as it was too small 1xtiny pollock and 1xflounder bait used was lug herring and squid sorry no photos left camera in house for both trips.

Dally bay can be a cracking mark- depending on where you fish but you're right about the ferry wash, it makes me wary of fishing they rock especially at night.
