I hope I`m wrong but I think launching access could be difficult in the remote areas, where most of the best fishing is, due to fear and resentment of non locals because of the virus. I fear we may get a severe case of health and safety going mad and the possibility of long term ramifications to, the already generally **** poor, launching facilities in Scotland.

If you're in Edinburgh mate, skateraw is well outside the recommended 5ml limit.

But yet in an ipsos moray poll released yesterday 82% said that Nicola sturgeon has been handling the situation far better than Boris.!

As it is a leisure activity which we all expect to be allowed to do from today you should be able to go fishing from your boat, but the expectation is we will be limited on travel. Dependant on where you are in Ayrshire will determine what would be a reasonable distance and location for you to fish.

You can do any sport as long as it is not a contact sport and you remain 2m or more apart. Going out on a boat is fine as long as you are 2m or more apart. Going solo on the boat absolutely no issue.

Nothing specific for boat fishing. To me fishing + water sports = boat fishing. But most boat yards are closed, same with car parks. You need to decide on your own circumstances.
