Coming down in a fortnight so would like some tips on what rods to bring (I have everything from coarse through to beachcasters) and what fish are around. Obviously I don`t expect any of you folks to give you the hotspots. Just looking for a variety of species really and as I live in the North East I won`t be `crowding` you locals out every other weekend! Many thanks in advance.

try to get out to Looe Island and fish from the shore if you can. I fished it 4 years ago and had a decent mullet on high water on the side facing towards Looe. Also some big wrasse caught.
