here are some pics of what i think / thought were jelly fish.

i took these pics off tency harbour about a month or so ago. he was trying to get the sandeel that was dangling from a float on a light cheap rod.

didnt fancy fighting it so let it go

if id known there would be some interest in them id have tried to catch it.

my Father in law claims he saw one of these years ago when water sking, I told him NO CHANCE, not in our waters!

I still think he saw a standard big bugger, but it would not impossible then!!:busted_co

would the treatment for these be the same as the Australian box jellyfish ie:treat the sting with white vinegar?:fishing1:

while on hol in tenby , we came across this on saundersfoot beach near the harbour while we were out trying to get a bit of bait , the bucket is about 10 inchers in diameter , the rest of the jelly fish was further down the beach,,,,,,,,

And this is one I came across washed up on the Zavial beach in, errrrrr... Portugal of all places!
