My little son wants to go fishing with daddy, and I don't know of any suitable places around the Humber. He isn't capable of casting far at all, so pretty much a straight drop is needed with railings to limit the chances of him taking a quick swim. I'd prefer south bank, but north is fine too. I have never seen anyone fish from Cleethorpes pier, so take it that is isn't allowed, though I have seen no signs stating that.

It would at most other places, but he won't catch anything on Cleethorpes beach, as it is only shallow at hightide, so he won't get out far enough, and he wants to do it himself, and not have me cast out for him, and goes out for ever at low and is quite fast moving, with the lifeboat out quite often to rescue those caught out by it

Get him down Stallingborough Wall.

If its a small tide / over low you can carry him over and he can drop straight into 8ft plus at his feet, or if its over high tide, he can drop it over the edge into 18ft+ almost immediately.

And he shouldn't fall over the concrete wall! lol

I've been to the wall, but didn't see anywhere suitable, just lots of deep thick mud at low, and rocky slop down to the water if you cross the wall, or is it a different part of it? I've only done bays 18-20 before, so may need to take more of a walk next time
