Can any of you reccomend a decent mark that fishes well 3 hours down to low. I am ideally thinking of somwhere around the swansea area e.g. West Pier to Caswell and somewhere where I dont have to chase the tide down a mile out or need a 8oz lead to keep the bait down. I usually only fish the flood, as I have found it to be more productive and easier fishing. The trouble is I can only seem to get a pass from the wife when the tide is on its way out.

Any suggestions much appricated.

you could try porthcawl pier but u need to be up the early as it can get busy this time of year

Have a look at all threads relating to PWLL/BURRY PORT this fishes better on the ebb .

you could fish sully which is near barry its a good low water mark tight kines

I did alright on the short arm last time fishing the tide down to low, seems to fish at all stages of the tide on there.
