Blinkin weathers done it again. Just took this shot looking out over Luce Bay

Wind gusting in from the SW and visability about one mile between squalls. It is looking far worse for you boys further north though. Best batten down those hatches !!!

At least there is a silver lining to this one according to Windguru

Six days of relative calm conditions. Oh well that will make a pleasant change. Bring it on :clap2:

John

Hmmmm.....East Lothian winds currently 12mph strengthening to 20mph by 10am, gusting to 32+mph according to XC. Just hope you're not going out on a boat, but if you are, it'll probably keep the RNLI busy.

No boats for me,,just popping over to kinghorn for a shot off the beach,(for flatties),hopefully the wind will be at our backs,,,even if we get out for an hour or so that will be enough.

On the contrary. You'd be amazed at the number of folk who launch small boats without looking at the forecast, or if they do, don't believe it, and rely on their guardian angel.

If my comment is read by one person who was thinking of launching off the Lothian or Fife coasts this morning, and changes his mind, then all to the good.

Wet and windy here in Bangor (NI) Snatcher. 20Kts SW,local boats are out fishing mackerel as we are well protected from the prevailing winds. I really pity the Portpatrick skippers who have been harbour bound for a great part of this "Summer". Looks like the next few days are going to be very fishable.

Was thinking about Balcary flat rock sometime this week , but hopefully the wind and the sea will have settled down a bit by then -don't fancy an impromptu swimming lesson!

Getting a bit brighter here in Drummore but still blowing a hoolie. No sign of the bay calming down yet.

Nice to see more photos Seafoods, really tells the story :) Will take another photo when conditions change, hopefully for the better.

Congrats on the baby by the way
