A mate of mine was fishing the tide down at Diver's Rock, Sudbrook and he found a trace with a bass of 4 1/2lb on the end of it. It must have been snagged about 3-4 yds out. Anyway it's in his freezer now.
Does anyone know who lost it?

I would have thought its been there a long time cos the huge tides this week will have made most of sudbrook unfishable and what was yr m8 doing at divers??:g: the tide run there is horrendous on a big spring

If the trace had a length of yellow 50lb shockleader, with 2 hooks, 5oz breakaway made with a yellow trace oh and breakaway bait clips ITS MINE!.
I fished caldicot weds night and had a "snapoff", so if mr bass was feeling strong then he draged the trace up stream to your mate....so i'l get the chips and cider then...
