Had a good session down loughor wednesday evening with me and my 2 kids once again my kids showed me up on how to catch fish with these flatties crabs very trouble some but we had some cracking bites has the tide turned cant wait to get down their again to show my kids how i catch them.:bb:

Great to see the kids doing well.

There are a couple of methods I have used in the past to get over the crab problem.

a) Depending on the size of tide fish a ball weight 1/2oz to 1oz and a flowing trace with a couple of floating beads, the trace moves with the tide and the worms are just of the bottom.

b) Float fishing can work well and is great fun, just keep adjusting the stop for depth, keep the worm just of the bottom, long trotting estuary style.
