Planning to go fishing low tide today, anyone give me a venue?
Barry? Knap?
Not Aberthaw!
Anywhere in this area?

Thank you

I was considering either the Knap, Rhoose Point (rotton bottom) or Porthkerry Park (not tried this yet - but I guess its just next to the Knap and fishing is similar).

is the knap a good low water mark?

I fished friars today at low water and came away with a decent sized whiting, ground to snaggy though!

it wasnt a good low water mark today lol. General consensus of the lads down there today - was it fishes best mid tides . Absolute low tide has very little depth of water - but the bottom is sand - so ive rarely lost tackle there - even over the pebbles at high. Fished from 2.00pm to almost high tide tonight with nothing but a conger for my troubles. That was only a few pound, but the spiteful git still made things difficult to get the hook out to return it. I h8 de-hooking conger :).
