when fishing rough ground I always use old sheet lead for rotten bottoms, costs nothing, must have about 2-3cwt hanging about in the lockup. Beat it into shape and use tying wire as an eye.

went down friars last saturday low water on the big tides and found a tenners worth od 5oz and 6oz impacts!!!
