Thinking of making a trip across to Lowestoft see me old dear mum and chuck a lead out and a float off the pier.
Could anyone local inform me as to the state of play with the old fishes, will I need my drop net?
Or does my mum miss put because I've gone somewhere else? Obviously the latter would be your fault lol
Cheers in advance

A group of us fished Pakefield, just below Lowestoft, on Saturday evening. We did not see any Doggies but plenty of Whiting and a few Dabs and one Bass even during daylight. There was a bit of weed at distance that made reeling in a pain, but crabs activity was at a minimum, only saw one pulled in all session. Baits were lasting about 10 minutes, as it got dark the fishing improved. The Whiting were around the MLS, some well over, we had around 120 fish between us and about half were big enough to take if you so wished.
