Lyme has been a bit funny recently, only really fish Lyme Regis area, some dovers at night and odd bass if you're dedicated, but plenty of mackies on a high tide. It's changed a lot since the coastal works last year, a lot of sand built up in the bay and it's killed off a lot of the reefs but it has brought in the sandy loving flatties and rays. Go to the tackle box on marine parade and the chaps there are very knowledgable and will pass on some great advice. It's that old addage that local knowledge really does count!
