Mackrel getting caught this morning in Cumbria.

How early is the earliest you have known them to be this far North?

The sea surface temperature for the north-west at the moment is 10C. Which is just about right for the inshore movement of Mackerel. Never known them this early before. Only ever caught them July to August.
