Just phoned Nathan and he said he is willing to meet us there any time we want. Just phone him 10 minutes before we get there and he will meet us at the shop. Seems like a genuine bloke. Will let you all know how we get on.:sun:

We arranged to meet Nathan at 8.30am yesterday (Sunday) to pick up some maddies. He asked us to phone him as soon as we turned off the M4 and he would meet us at his shop. He phoned me at 8.15 to see if we were on our way. We then phoned him as agreed when we left the M4 and he was at the shop waiting for us. Nice friendly chap. Very chatty and helpful and his maddies were very good quality. Would definitely recommend this guy to anybody especially if you're stuck for bait at the last minute as he will meet you at his shop anytime you want.

i called at the shop last saturday to pick up some bait was greeted by nathans otherhalf and son .she was very polite and said they will deliver orders over £15 .if you can phone in your orders days in advance he will make sure its delivered .and he is very good with his prices .and i wish him luck

does anyone not realize that there is already a very good bait shop in clydach which has been serving us for nearly 15yrs and i could understand if it was a last minute thing or late night but dont you think we should be staying loyal to someone who has given great deals all year round not just a fly by night bait shop

Well he was closed yesterday when I needed bait and Nathan wasn't.

Mark at HR Jones has good bait, and good deals in his shop, however this thread was dealing with after hours last min bait, when the regular shops are closed

I cannot understand why anglers would want to buy bait after hours with shops opening at 7am and not closing till 6pm and the same with dragon baits and the fact that you now your going fishing so you can sort your bait out in plenty of time what the problem is if all you anglers bought your bait direct from bait diggers who have no over heads where would you get your terminal tackle from the internet do not be so short sighted support your local tackle shops not bait diggers who are only out to make a quick buck and when the weather suits.

Some anglers work 12 hour shifts for eg. 6a.m. Til 6 p.m. Or if you live down my area you cant get maddies, this would mean a trip to swansea the day before then having to travel up there again the next day to fish, if the shop is 24 hours you only need to make 1 trip saving a fortune on petrol :thumbs:

I could not agree more but hey we will soon see who will be sorry and at least mark wil know who is loyal customers are
