Just bought a mag conversion from ebay.
It took 10 miutes to fit and my god what a difference.
Have'nt cast it yet but I can feel the difference just by turning the handle and adjusting the control from full on to off,can't wait to get to the beach.
I have a penn 525 mag extra but this conversion seems to be much more effective.
Will let you know how it performs on the beach soon

Hi mate sorry its taken so long to reply been very busy the kit is £22.50 and postage was £1.20 its brilliant the lead really does fly and I reckon I'm passing 200 yds with every cast

Was there any drilling of the side plates involved or did the unit attach to the reel via the spool control knob?
