hi after some help, i have just got a marine radio for mr boat, but i got a CB antenna went to portland to put the boat out but couldnt pick any thing up, is there a difrance between CB antenna and a marine antenna,

Different wavelengths. You will need a proper marine band antenna. Using the CB aerial could frazzle your radio:yucky:
