CAN ANYONE HELP IM NEW TO BOAT FISHING AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR MARKS TO FISH IN CARDIGAN BAY . I LAUNCH IN ABERPORTH OR NEW QUAY.I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A GO FOR BASS OR TOPE. I TRIED LAST YEAR BUT WITH NO SUCCESS .:boat:

Find depressions on the sea-bed via the sounder & anchor so you're into those with your baits: also, drop baited feathers over the side & when you get whiting use 'em as flappers. The tope this time of year aren't expecting mackerel.
