Hi all,

Can anyone advise of some good marks out of Shoreham? I hear there are some good bass fishing grounds not far out, and would be very grateful for any advice!

Thanks,
Chris

Hi there again! Off the old power station is recommended. A friend had many bass last season on the lower river and inside the harbour trolling Rappelas. Do you have Hugh Stoker's book, "Sea Fishing in Sussex." It has a list of Shoreham marks. I fished them many years ago and his advise was good then> If you don't have it or can't get it let me know and I will send more info!

There is an inshore mark about 1.25 miles out of Shoreham Harbour (225 degs )
which I believe was an old ammo barge. You can see the boil in smooth water

Last summer my son & I had Black Bream, Bass and big plaice. Not joking !! My boy had 5 over 3lb on Blow lug..

Go get them
