I Understand that Newport SAC fished the Severn Bridge area at Beachley on the weekend.
Does anyone Know what was caught.
I'm fishing on the welsh side on the mouth of the Wye tomorrow.
Couldn't get any fresh bait so I'm using Lazy Lug, squid and Prawn.
Eels and Bass should be showing soon. I'll send a report tomorrow night.

It was very very poor at beachley Sunday with more than twenty anglers only 4 in size eels brought to the scales - - loads and loads of u/size codling caught though:g:

Thanks for the info Yatoes, pretty much the same here today.
fished the Welsh side near the sub-station but blanked despite using a variety of baits. My son had a couple of shy bites.
The highlight of the sesh was when a 3 masted sailing ship came out of the mist, turned around and went back down channel.
I topped my suntan up though and had a relaxing day. But it's back to work tomorrow.
