There was a thread on here a while back about dating engines from serial numbers. http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42800&highlight=serial+numbers
I have two Mercs and am now thinking of selling so wanted to date them for sure. I remember years ago visiting one of the Merc websites which listed all the numbers but now I cannot find it. If anyone can send a link or advise it would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I have a list of all engines except Honda, for some reason they don't let the numbers out. If you put the serial number here I will check it and give you the date
