Yesterday I picked up a used but 'mint' meta-lite legend. I've done some Google work on it and seems to be either a century or Conoflex blank rod with a top finish. It's just over 13ft at about 13'6 at a guess. Feels a cracking rod, but what I can't find out is a value on this. It rrp was £350 new. Like I said it's mint, hardly a mark with no rust to rings or any signs it's seen a beach. Can anyone give me an idea on value?

Brilliant, cheers guys... Not sure if I'll sell it yet, want to have a cast with it first :) was a very good find though.
Century or Conoflex I'd definitely want to try it out and would probably end up keeping it :)
I have a metalite match series one and love it.

I'd be interested on your take of the performance against the others you have!!

Appreciate the posts and what I'll do is ring the guy himself for more details and to confirm the blank. Then I'll test it out and see weather it's right for me. I will certainly compare it to the other rods I have and have used. Blimey... Upto £200 mint... Eitherway I've found a gem it seems.

It will be a Richard built one on a century blank, my mates got a pair Richard built for him, you need some muscle to get the best out of them, otg won't cut it , it needs a full pendulum , if you can do them justice they are phenomenal , I couldn't cast them to save my life.
