Fished methil docks today 17.00 to 20.30 bait was macky, lug and squid was a decent sea running so decided on fishing the sea wall on the block along from steviecod . Tryd lug first and was stripped in a few secs must have been the wee coalies so tryd the squid got a good bite but missed the fish so changed bait again this time macky and got a wee red cod about the 1lb mark cast back out and got another cod about the same size which spat out the bit squid i had chucked in when changing bait .After that just a few coalies .Stevie had 2 cod 4 starfish and plenty coalies , will put up pics the mra when i find out how tae get them aff ma new phone

As Stevie says they are only about a yard out right the way up to the lighthouse but a few people have said that when they have just been baited it brings the cod in cos they smell the bait in the pots dont know if its true but makes sense to me . Nae bother Stevie good to speak to you again.

cheers for the info, great to hear they are more at your feet rather than further out reducing the area you can fish
