Hi chaps hoping to do some fishing from Mevagissey harbour wall this easter and the week ahead what am I likely to catch this time of year? are there any mullet about? whats the best time off tide to fish.Any info about this location would be much appreciated thanks

Mackeral are showing,though you would probably be best float fishing or spinning for them instead of feathering.I would fish from about 2hrs before high tide. Maybe a few wrasse down the wall on ragworm or crab baits,limpet is a good free alternative bait if you cant get worm.Cant help you with the mullet,but i know people catch them on small strips of mackeral on a paternoster on the bottom near the wall.By night you may get the odd conger and dogfish.

As cfish has said!! As for the mullet, I aint an expert by any means, but I have caught them from the lighthouse quay. Use breadflake down the wall inside the harbour, near to the car parking area. Using other baits, such as worm or macky flesh will also attract lots of small fish which can be a nuisance when targeting mullet! Good luck anyway!!
