launched this morning 6.30 am with andy2728 and hpt..anchored at penar point for an hour or so for the ray, but nothing biting:schmoll: so we headed down to gelliswick but no ray there either:yucky: . wind was blowing hard from the east so we were a bit limited to where to go.we then headed east and found some shelter behind sheep island and anchored. lots of ballan wrasse up to 3lb and the occasional odd small pollack.:clap3: by dinner time the wind had died down a bit so we headed out to mid channel rocks and started a drift. staight away we were into good size ballans, pollock , codling ,and a few mackys courtesy of andy.:clap3: 4 hours of drifts and 4 hours of constant fish.:clap3: CANT FAULT IT.:clap3: after suffering repetative strain injury we headed back up to pennar park with our fresh mackys and had another crack at the rays. we ended up with 4 ray up to 8lb.:clap2: really enjoyable day, back on the slip by 6pm.
