Bass - 42cm
Blue ling - 70cm/28in.
Saithe - 35cm/14in.
Cod - 35cm/14in.
Haddock - 30cm/12in.
Hake - 27cm/11in.
Herring - 20cm/8in.
Ling - 63cm/25in.
Mackerel - 30cm/12in North Sea, 20cm/8in Other.
Megrim - 20cm/12in.
Plaice - 27cm/11in.
Pollock - 30cm/12in.
Salmon - 58cm/23in (Scotland Only).
Sea Trout - 30cm/12in (Scotland Only).
Sole - 24cm/10in.
Scad - 15cm/6in.
Whiting - 27cm/11in.

i have just made up two of the following signs and i will be putting them up at salthouse this week end they are on card and are laminated

even if only one person reads them and adheres to them its a start

the reason i am doing it at salt house is i will be going that way this weekend and that way if i can start the ball rolling then i hope some will follow and copy and past my list or make there own and put one or two up on there beachs if half of the anglers on this site did one poster it would spread the cost to all and might just be enough to stop the odd person which over the course of a year might just save a few little fish ok we will never stop it but at least we have the upper hand on those who do it and the antis 1 nill to the anglers
You have the old size for taking bass on there mate 42cm now

But isn't the minimum size for Bass 42 cm.
