Hi im thinking of going to the mull of galloway on sat down the big cliff right at the point but the weather says is to be 23mph sw winds. is that too dodgy? or would it be ok? am trying for tope pollack and doggies. any other advice on places for catching from the shore?

think that would make it a bit dodgy mate.some of the lads from down that way will know better though.

i wouldnt look to much into the weather reports for the weekend just now best waiting till thurs before making decsion

Seriously mate there is nothing you can catch there that you won't catch from safer nearby stances, it really is more hastle than what it's worth and fishing is very limited,

If you do go down then make sure you have a sturdy set of boots on and don't take any chances when moving about
