well blanked again tried up the far side first with fresh peelers and raw tiger prawns squid macki and sandeel mph1954 blanked as well lost a few leads did lose a good fish had a good bite then the rod went still waited a few minutes then it banged down again struck fish on having a nice little fight with it it was bouncing my rod well, mph1954 had the camera out ready then nothing got off was gutted, we then decided to move to the centre had a few more casts i missed another bite struck to early:giveup: :giveup: mph1954 dident have a bite all day weather was great, nudists were out did stop and chat with a wsf member dident catch your name (sorry) he had a turbot and a doggi

Hard luck. Still, at least you tried. I've never had much luck there in the daytime, always better at night I reckon.

sorry to here that wilba i am doing a night sesh there in may you can tag aong then if you like its on the 19th i be there for midnight as long as the weather is ok tight lines

hello mate:
i'm known as "fish fumbler".
i agree, it was a cracking day (weatherwise), but the fishing was very poor.
after our chat (you'd left about 5-10 mins) i wound in my last cast & i had another doggie.
i noticed that all the different baits that i used, it was a s/eel & squid combo on a
3ft long & low that accounted for all of them.

Walk further along the beach and you'll find the beach is being netted , no wonder the fishing is so slow.

Legal or not if its there when I go down next on a night session it wont be much use next morning

Perving ????????? only been there 4 times but most of the women I've seen there are older than the fossils in the rocks :yucky: and have skin like a sun ripened dogfish.

i will second that yatoes .
i fished wick ledges last sunday and didnt see any nets i am not saying they are not there tho.
and the baits were coming in better than they were going out so something is wrong down there:uhuh:

had been told about the net before we went and i did have a look for them at low water but could see thrm anywhere

We fished a few hundred yards off the shore on a boat last saturday..all we managed was dogfish,,
