Down in Pembs for Christmas, so after Christmas Day festivities and Boxing Day recovery I had a couple of sessions in between first light high tide while everybody else was in bed. Went up to Goodwick first morning and fished off the end of the inner breakwater. Bites from the off on small fish baits on a two hook flapper from pin whiting. Obviously still loads about. A Christmas present from the kids, a Tronixpro "wet feet" bucket, was put to good use letting them recover before release. No free pickings for the seagulls! Squid/mackerel combo on a pennel on the other rod resulted in three doggies, so not bad for a couple of hours fishing. Fished same state of tide following day down on Milford Haven sea wall. Same baits and tactics. Baits were getting destroyed by crabs within minutes. Fished for two hours with little confidence and blanked! My Haven hoodoo continues.
