Hi all,

Due to a booking, I will be close to Mudeford Beach on Saturday evening. I was wondering whether or not to take my tackle along and wet a line or two. The problem is that I won't be able to get to the beach until just before midnight so I would be fishing from about half way down the ebb. Does the beach produce much at that sort of tide state?

I realise that to catch fish a line in the water is better than no line, but I've had too many blank sessions this year and another may just break me! All advice welcome (by PM is good if you prefer)

Cheers

The Quay is supposed to be good for Big Bass!! I know people who have seen big bass taken there after dark. On the other side of the "Run" there is a groyne with a Red post on it. From the groyne look left when stood on the key and follow it out to the Bouy. A sand bank runs along there and is visible from low tide. The beach to the left fishes well from what i know. Bass, Dogfish and a few other taken from there. Never fished it myself though.

Best of luck ;)
