i still havent caught a mullet yet! i remember clive vedmore catching them at lavernock years ago and was wondering if any 1 could give me some advice on how to get them there, i want to use my feeder rod that i bought 3 years ago and still havent used!! i say i still havent caught 1 yet and not ever fishing for them probaly has something to do with that, do i use a float and waht size hooks? is low water better? as you can tell i havent got a clue!!! im guessin mabey 2 before low and 1 up? in the middle of the two points? thanks alot!

just seen your question on mullet at lavernock, u can fish any part of the tide up or down, small or medium tides r the best as it gets very shallow at low water on tides bigger than 11.5mtrs at cardiff. I use a light carp rod with 6lb line straight throw, with a 3aaa float and size 10 hooks, bread on the hook, mash some bread as ground bait and feed as required.
