Plenty of mackeral from Dean Tail but on the small side. They seemed to prefer shrimp/hokkai lure to flashy feathers today, the opposite of what they were taking three weeks ago..wierd. NW wind against tide made fishing uncomfortable further out so I packed in early. Other boats coming back reported a quite day, the occasional ray, smoothound and bream.

Hi Salar,

We fished in the Solent yesterday on "Jo Dan" out of Portsmouth, and as you said, it was worse than poor.

We had a few Tope, Mackerel, Scad & palm size Bream.

Cheers

Drew

Hi I fished Brown down boy Yesterday for Bass not much Joy caught a few nice size bream and mackrel. Bream became a bit of a nightmere to be honest as they kept nicking the bait. Had this problem alot at brown down with bream nicking the bait. Overal not a very good day.
