Fished there last night with gibby12 & tarw. Being that the tide was quite small, we decided to fish the ledges just to the right of the car park.
Had my first bite on high water, a nice conger, that looked around the 10lb mark, but it decided to chew my hook off as i was hand lining it in.:wallbash:
Then gibby pulled in a large doggie, which he had snared around the tail.
Then Tarw lost, what we thought was lobster, could have been a very large crab though. I then pulled in my first doggie of the night. And about 1 1/2hrs after high, my rod started going like ****, and I managed to pull in a 6lb 6oz, conger.
Baits used- mak, crab & razor fish.

yeah, no matter how much lighting was there, the conger still looked better than me, ha ha.
Are you still going out today? that wind looks like its picking up.
