NEMESIS SLR - Any views please?

Evening Gents,

Any of you have any experiance with the standard SLR? If so would really welcome your views about it and what its ideal application.

They are brilliant rods . I have 2 and rate them above a Zziplex 3500 which is a similar actioned rod but not made any more.

I use mine reel down and pendulum cast, which, for me gives a very forgiving through action with a bit of a pokier tip than the 3500 - so I can cast further with it. It's excellent for fishing with too.

Have a try of one if you can.

i had 2 for a while and think they are amazing all round rods...(i miss them!)
i upgraded to a pair of heavier nemesis slr plus's 6-7oz
and they are great too... but for the lighter stuff the standard slrs are great rods!!

ideal for ground casting and superb bite detection also with enought backbone to bring in congers and decent rays in strong tides (from experience with them!)

you can have a 6oz on em but with 5oz you can really bang it!

good rods, i rate them!
