right guys,
this is what i need,

a new bow roller for the strikeliner,
she's going on the mooring in the spring,
the mooring rope is 25mm nylon, so i need a good strong bow roller with a 50mm wide roller so there's plenty room for the anti-chaffing sleeve, a nose pin or room to put one to stop the rope rising off the roller while on the mooring.
thing is.... not a massive area on the strikeliner to fit one. at the moment i have a ys 30mm alloy one on there but of course the roller is too narrow, nay ideas out there? and what do you reckon stainless or alloy?

you are right, i have all the gear myself to make one, so i've just emailed a couple of steel stockholders for prices, i'll knock one up in no time, and i can make it to my design and as heavy duty as i like.
the off the shelf models seem to use quite thin stainless which is fine for anchor work but don't like the sidewards jolts you get on the mooring in a storm.
i do apologise for my laziness, must be cos' it weekend.
