Going to have a wee chug about go off New Brighton tomorrow. I noticed the other week that there is a very large sandbank with a good channel running along it.
Just wondering whether you guys think I would be best fishing, On top of the bank,Down the side or in the channel.
I'm going to take Black lug, Crab, Mackerel and squid with me.

a good spot to fish is fish the end of the groye to the left , it sticks out abit further than were the beach ends but can only be reached close to lw ..you get a few hours onit before tide starts to turn , ul get plenty of flattie species there on different baits on smallish hooks and the usaul whiting codling this time of year and maybe rays / dogs and youl be out away from the crowd if there is 1 that is .......or easy enough just to fish the beach .......when going out on the boat past there ,there is a deep channel to the left side of the beach shows on echo sounder so i tend to fish that side .. good luck and tightlines
