ive just got the new edition and im half way through on to the bass fishing and there has been nothing about beach fishing so far
just lrf and then on to bass why don't they just call it bass angler :uhuh:

Becasue they're not honest enough to do that!

Bass fishing may well be the growing fastest aspect of our sport (apparently) but it's stiill a small minority - just look at the amount of traffic on the lure section on here and, off the top of my head, there are only a handful of the more tradiitional bass fisherman (bait) that post in the South Coast Section.

Saying that, it's got it's place and is roughly the same cost as a pint, (although a pint lasts longer!).

Sometimes I like reading Sea Angler.

Once in 1998 and another in about 2004.

I used to buy all types of fishing mags, Sea Angler was never the best and stopped years ago, aswell as most actualy.

Just a thought, but why buy a Mag at around £4 when you can get all you want to read and also nowadays talk about on the interent. I used to spend about £35 per month on my hobbies in mags, now its all free and more info when you want it on the internet.

Being a sort of newbie (not sea fished for 30yrs) I buy both TSF and SA.

I find TSF is the better all round read but I do pick advice up from both.
Saying that though SA is very 1 dimensional 80% is about bass fishing so for now I will continue to purchase it.

But SA will be the one to bite the dust as far as I am concerned.
