Ive done a bit around the north island...mainly from the beech...(loose turm) had fantastic times... their is nothing like a fresh meal straight from the sea onto a bbq... went out for a couple of trips on a boat out of the bay of islands... it was great......going back to the jaffas next month.. and hoping to get up to kiri-kiri in march... and if i dont get any fishing in... i WILL hang myself from the longest Yard-Arm.....:happy:

Anybody going out from Bay of Islands could do worse than looking up Steve Butler, top bloke for the old Kingies!!

Not sure what the seasons are? Anything doing in late April/May ?
