Hi Mate

welcome to the forum
Presume your new to sea fishing as well as the forum. I'd try the barrage...fish it 3 hours up and 1 down from the pink hut to the end of the fishing area...you MUST fish small hooks though...size 4's or 2s...NOT 4/0's or 2/0's

penarth pier is also a good place to try.

Once you start to get to grips with the gear, casting, catching a couple of fish then keep viewing reports and start to try further afield.

Get yourself a Gary Evans tide book. Its got a wealth of information including maps of most popular marks, advice on how to fish them and what baits to use. And most important its the only timetable with the correct tide heights. Which fishing around here is vital. Also join a local club where you will learn loads. Hope this helps and welcome to a wonderful sport.
