From now until Autumn the local beaches and particularly Skeggy will be getting really busy and often not much fun if solitude is your thing when fishing! Try an evening or early morning tide to avoid some of the tourists! You can fish virtually anywhere from near Gibralter Point up to Mablethorpe and the fishing will be very similar, cleanish, mainly sandy beaches with not too many snags but the crabs are beginning to wake up hungry now after their Winter break so baits wont last long in the water. Flatfish would be the most common prey and can be caught on virtually any bait but Bass will soon be making an appearance and of course Lincolnshire's famous Smoothounds with the crab moult. Good luck anyway and hope to read some reports of your sessions whether you catch or not! Cheers
