Fished at Newton point point today over low water.
Bit of an 'oh well I'm bored lets go fishing' moment.
Not the best of days fishing, only place I could think of on the spur of the moment that is easy to get to and could produce a fish or two at that time of tide.
How wrong was I?
Lost lots of leads rotten bottom style and only one doggie to show for it!!
A few people fishing there but only saw one other doggie caught
Think I lost a decent fish last going off.... it pulled me into some snags and the weak link failed and the whole trace was lost with fish on it.
Probably another doggie.
