went for a quick chuck off hastings seafront last night(few hundred yds west of the pier) and all was well quiet....i was going for bass, big baits, flappers, squid $ big lug baits(no joy!)
eventually went for the manky frozen lug tipped with some nice fresh macky(3/0 pennel on a pulley)........didn't even realise i had a fish on until i noticed that me line had shot right round with the tide?? no....a nice big, fat, juicy dover sole was on the other end, my first one, 2lb4oz.....very chuffed indeed:wub:

Nice Sole.
Ive just come back from spending a couple of days in Hastings visiting family that are on holiday there.
Was walking along the seafront today up to the old town thinking that i wish i could have brought my rod for a chuck as the sea looked nice and 'fishy'

May have to head there soon.

Again nice fish.
