first of all thanks to fyshy and everyone that wished me happy birthday!
Anyway got myself a day off and thought what better way of spending it than beaching a few spotties or maybe an early bass. Things didn't go to plan! i sort of expected it though, far to calm and bright. but it was great to get out again and for the first time this year i could tell we are on the right side of winter.

bait- herring, and sprats (courtesy of morrisons)and fresh black.
method- two rods one scratch rig, one 4/0 pully with lumps of fish.
results- one soddin rockling.:yucky:

hopfully a few pics here from my new camera.

Working on North Pier again today.

Spent most of the time talking to the anglers. Shh please don't dob me in.

All that was caught was a few and I mean a few dabs. NO plaice or anything else.

Looks like we are into the winter / summer switch.

Glad i caught plaice two weeks ago before the blow.:clap2: :clap2:
