Should be a few flounder from the harbour mouth and the beach.. Other than that wrasse, red codling in the rough stuff.. In my experience, dusk and dawn are preferable ,due to the public going away!!
Try the shallow weedy ground to the west side of the harbour (towards yellowcraig)
Very quiet on Sunday evening. Tried the 'saucer' for a few hours and managed - well nothing! Had 1 mackie which came off the hook lifting it out. No one else caught anything either. Kinda wished I hadn't bothered - it was 23c in the garden when I left but freezing on the rocks in the haar! Poor! Usually a decent enough spot though!
