im up in middlesborugh 4 the weekend and will be fishing the northeast coast, but due to the northeasterlys today and the easterlys tomorrow could any one recomend any marks where i wont be getting battered by the wind...... any help would be appreciated thanks ........................

Not giving too strong a wind mate you should be ok. Depends what type of marks you like and when you intend to fish.

Staithes and Sandsend Cliffs could be worth a try on the ebb as could Runswick beach. For low tide any of the local marks would be worth a go - Runswick, Port, Kettleness, Sandsend, Saltwick, Robin hoods bay. If the water colours up again I'll be trying myself for a codling or 2 somewhere.
