Hi all,

Myself, Spikey and another fellow worker (JohnBoy) went to drown a few worms last nite after work on the beach behind North Shore Golf Coarse. We fished from 17:30 till about 21:00, a little chop on the water and lite breeze but there was lots of weed around.

Me & Spikey had a Yting each but Old JohnBoy caught a lovely cod around the 3lb mark. :clap3: Its the first time any of us had fished there.

hi mate,ive never fished down there altho lived round here all my life,i know the golf course but never bin on the beach behind,any other places on that stretch you could recomend?

Hi Nidge, its the first time i've ever fished Skegness i'm usually chapel/Huttoft way fishing. Saw more fish caught at North Shore last night than Chapel/huttoft since crimbo. :g:

I've been told that Drake Road in Skeg near Seacroft Golf coarse/Gibb Point is also good, might try there next.

We are planning on going again in a couple of weeks if your interested, will be local but not sure where.
