Myself and fysherman1001 will be the verifiers for this region at the moment.

How to enter your fish into the list-

1. Take a photograph against something we can get a size reference from, like a reel or even better a match rule. You can also take a pose picture and send them both to us. We then decide if your are pulling a fast one :D

2. When you submit it include your user name and details like venue, bait, tide and weather info, date and of course the weight. Try to use a fairly accurate set of scales if possible.

Only fish caught within the region will be eligible.

To submit your entry you'll have to pm myself or fysher for our email address.

Each post will contain the the top 5 fish for each species and a separate post for the boat entry's. The layout will be easier to understand once we have a few entry's. Once a larger fish is caught than the smallest one, the smaller one drops off so there will only be a max of 5 in the post.

I might be able to get some prizes for the best of the best at the end of the year....no promises though. :D

All we need now are some entry's, good luck folks. :fishing:

Got to agree with danix, It's a bloody nice tope but I think it's going to far back.
The specimen list should have had a start date i.e. 1.1.2007.

Yeah chorly is right really.......Thats my fault, fish must be recent from March 2007.

Dan's is a nice fish and I forgot to put a date in, from now on though all must be from March.

Happy fishing guys

surely the situaton can be resolved. although whatever start date is decided it wo,nt suit everyone. its just meant to be a bit of fun, but if the finer points had been sorted out it would have eliminated the risk of controversy. for example,-- it would seem as important to have a start date and a finish date laid down for 2008 if its decided to carry it on after this year.

like anything new little problems will occur and get ironed out as you go along there's a few guidelines in the first post but they can and probably will be amended as time goes by but hopefully everyone will use the post ,
yes it is a bit of fun but can be very informative and beneficial to people old and new to the site and if {hopefully } its still here next year it'll run smoothly

will have a word with Adam and see if we can sort out some of the finer points

Didnt realise a specimen list would need a finish date. If so most of the current BRFC list would be thrown out, and an outstanding fish would only be recognised for a short while instead of for posterity:g:
