Don't like the nose weights, not used the ones in the pic but have used the cone weights and have them from 1g upto 12g +use them for years for Wrasse.
I think they spoil the effectiveness of the standard Senko and always use mine weed less and weightless, the salty ones cast well and when rigged poker straight with the best hook for the job ... the texposer they behave and fall through the water in a kind of wonderful way.
Never tried the swimsenko lures.

I like the idea that its fixed instead of sliding,
And having coloured heads to match the
baits is cool, if I cant get any of these easily
I might just paint some cone weights
in matching colours..
I only use the cone weights fixed.
I use either a rubber float stop or a cocktail stick snapped off.
My cone weights are mostly green.

Wouldnt it cool if fixed cone weights
were made more fish head/ eel head
shaped and came in lots of colours
to match. or even eyes painted on!
You can get them....I think I have seen them at some point at Camo Tackle.

Most of mine are made of tungsten and some are brass

I nearly always paint or stick eyes to my cone heads and fixed heads .......
Does it make a difference , who knows but it's all in the eyes if you ask me , and I certainly don't put them off ....
